Verbena's Apothecary (2021-present) is an ongoing sculptural-zine project. Originally conceived by the artist for Doing Language: Word Work, a multi-part curatorial project of Egbert Vongmalaithong and Nontsikelelo Mutiti  through ICA:VCU, Verbena's Apothecary is an inquiry in and a response to labor relations, medicalization, authorship, The Book, publishing, relationship building, expertise, and debilitation. The second iteration of this project is on view in the group show, Don't mind if I do (curated by Finnegan Shannon and Lauren Levig), until January 7, 2023 at MoCA: Cleveland.
